Applications must be filled out online with supporting documentation uploaded completely by the candidate by March 15, 2019. Only complete applications will be accepted, incomplete packets will result in disqualification. Signature page must be completed and uploaded with the supporting documentation.
*Sending Districts: Prospective applicants attending alternative high schools are encouraged to apply if their sending district is listed on the website.

Amici will be awarding three scholarships at the end of the 2018-2019 academic year. Eligible candidates are high school seniors graduating in June 2019 that will be attending an accredited junior college, college or university during the 2019-2020 academic school year.
Applicants will be evaluated and judged on the following criteria:
a. Scholastic record
b. Community Service
c. Two letters of recommendation
d. Personal statement on “service to others”
Scholarship awards will be sent directly to the school to be attended, in the winner’s name and applied to their account.

Amici Italian-American Benevolent Association, founded in 2012, is a local organization established to promote Italian heritage among our families, friends and acquaintances, and to help people in need.
Amici will award three John Masse Memorial Scholarships to three high school seniors pursuing higher education in a junior college, four-year college, or university. Eligible candidates are graduating seniors wholly or partially of Italian ancestry, from an accredited high school, public, private or parochial within the catchment of the Amici membership. Scholarship denominations are $1500, $1000, and $500. These schools and/or sending districts* include:

Two letters of recommendation (one of these letters must be from a school official and one must be from a community member who is not a relative of the applicant. An example would be an employer or supervisor from your volunteer experience)
